I have replaced the air cleaner with a round powder coated flat black cover to match the pipes, I am going to replace the stock horn cover with the one in the pic below and it is gloss black, was thinking about sanding down the horn covet to get it flat like the air cleaner and pipes, or should I leave it gloss black... what do you think?

If that's what you're after, I'd hit it with 400 grit paper and shoot a coat of Flat Clear over it. Any hardware has it.
If you don't cover the sanded part with something - the elements will get it!
Yes I was thinking very fine steel wool and matte clear coat also, Just thinking if it should match the other side or be glossy like the tank. Right now with the stock cover on the horn it looks like I abandoned the left side of the bike...got a good deal on the horn cover so I figured why not.
