Almost lost my shifter today

I broke mine with the toe shifter stripped out and dropped down and I couldn't get the bolt loose(don't ask how). I now only have the toe shifter which is fine with me, since I don't personally like heel shifters. I take it out twice a year and apply never cease and clean the bore out also. Be sure to check the lever bolts each time you change the oil..

I've had the heal shifter fall off before.... did the bolt upgrade and its been fine till today..... now the shaft broke off at the start of the spline..... looks like some real **** metal..... come on Harley WTF?
