I have 54,000 fun miles on my 2008 RGU. Includes one trip from NC to Texas and one from NC to Key West. The other miles are mostly from riding the mountains of NC, Tn and Va. No problems other than a new radio, bike still runs great!
I have 112,000 miles on my '00 RG. Gear drive cams at 57,000, stator 87,000 miles, other than that, just oil and tires. I don't plan on ever selling this bike. I have it set up to suit me just right. When it's time for a new motor, I'll probably go with a 103, or maybe a 107.
I got my 09 EGC in july 2009 and just turned 19k. SOme small warranty Issues like tire recall gas tank recall, led tail light went out, but nothing to really sweat about. I just turned 58 so I plan on keeping this one untill it drops, fix it and ride some more. I be really happy if I get past 100k with it.
Bought an07 sg with 22k march 2010 and I asked the mech. there how these engines are good for and he looked at me and said you will never wear it out. I don't know if he thought I wouldn't ride much or I looked really sick to him. I have 32k on it now no problems. Would have had alittle more but weather this Dec. has been a bear.
Kroozeabout.
Weather this pas year just hasn't matched my riding times so i slowed down a lot....Plan on picking it up in 2011... want to ride to Colorado...i want to see the Rockies before i die.
55000 on my 07 and for what i can get for it and all i have done to it it is b etter for me to keep it and ride the **** out of it. when the motor dies i will get another motor.
I'm trying to catch up to you on the mileage, however you ride everywhere I do, so it's not working out like I planned!!!
Oh yeah, your pretty good at drinking whiskey also!!!
I had 48K trouble free miles on my 07 RKC when I traded up to my 10 Ultra. 3 rear tires and 2 fronts, 5K mile service intervals and 2 lights (taken out by rock hits). Hope the Ultra is as good to me. Ran Amzoil and used nothing but H-D parts (including tires).
