Do all the mustang seats for our touring bikes have the narrower tank portion?
I just bought one and don't see anything about it, yet all the others somehow mention the narrow portion to allow your legs to reach the ground easier, which is what I'm after.
75486 is what I got.
I also picked up a 07 SG seat to try out.
It;s for my 07 FLHT so I'm not concerned about the dash being short. I'm kinda wanting the FLHX dash anyways.
Mustang says the seat is taller but it is narrower at the front. That's what I'm after.
I have a badlander on it now and it holds my legs up when trying to drop my feet down...odd feeling. Some padding needs to be cut out. That and the Gf does not like it on her butt.
Shore, I have a Mustang Super Solo on my bike that's in my Sig. My wife has the Regal Touring seat on her SG Trike. The nose is a bit narrower on the Mustang's. I feel like I'm sitting down in the Bike rather than on it. I have better butt and hip support with the seat. I've had Mustang seats on several bikes over the years. They are hard to beat for the money. You can email or call somebody like Powersports2go or west end motorsports and ask them. They offer Mustang seats at a great price. powersports2go.com has a 15 day return policy I believe. Good luck!!
