I see 2 PN's for heritage bars. One is 56902-08 and is the polished heritage "style" bars that says it fits 08 and later flhr, fltr etc.
The other pn is 56623-99 and these are the chrome replacement for the stock heritiage classic. It says they fit heritage but mentions no other models.
Both PN's have the same specs so I assume the only difference is one is chromed and the other is polished. Will either of these fit my 2001 flhr? I'm thinking so but wonder why they say 08 and later.
From what I have read in searches I should not have to replace any cables with the heritage bars.
the partnumber for non-chrome pre-08 heritage bars is 56569-86, I put these bars on my 01 RKC this past summer with no cable changes, if the one for the 08 has all the fittings for the TBW.
