Learned the hard way. Grease gun comes in during the summer. Grease liquifies and runs out of the gun. Keep it the the vegetable crisper in the fridge.

Uninsulated garage here. I leave a 5000 watt heater on low which keeps the temps above freezing. The only thing I do is shut the water off. It's worked well for the past 12 years or so.

Insulated garage with no heat in Michigan. Everything stays. Haven't had any issues yet. Occasionaly a bottle of water will start to freeze up if I leave it out there, not often though.

My insulated three car garage in Montana would get down to 37° in the winter, so I installed a propane overhead furnace to take the chill off.
That was a good move......still too cold, and a very short riding season. I finally said "F it" and moved to Florida. No more snow for me.

I am over cautious so I bring it all in. But check your containers, on some of mine it says "do not freeze". I even take my bags/seats off and bring them in. If I could, the bikes too.

Only thing I bring in is the battery from the bike. I don't run a trickle charger so I just take it inside.

I also make sure the Harley water bottle on the bike is empty too.

I keep it all in the garage year round. Live in Eastern NC and it gets below freezing a few times during the winter.

Keep any latex based paint or caulk in the basement year round. Liquid waxes and such stay out in the "man cave" . Give 'em a good shake in the spring and have never had a problem.

My garage is insulated and one of these days I'll get permanent heat put in out there (been saying that for 2 years) and the latex stuff will then be evicted from its cozy nest in the basement.

+1, tho it can get as low as 10 degrees at night in the dead of winter the insulated attached garage never drops below 45
