Are you sure they were the 255's? I have them & wouldn't think they would help that much at that speed/RPM...

Your numbers don't look to bad, I would expect more torque though you may need further tuning.

I think it looks pretty good, about what I'd expect. The torque curve is very typical for those cams, starting early and tapering off after about 4K rpms. This is a very typical build, and your tuner probably had a good starting point in his files, from earlier work. He shouldn't have to start from scratch, unless something about your build was unusual. That may explain why it didn't take long to tune.

Stick the dyno sheet in a file and enjoy your bike.

I would especially if you were running in 6th where you were out of steam. Drop down to 5th or even 4th and rev it up a bit. I can peg the speedo pretty fast in 5th but things happen pretty slowly in 6th.

Your numbers look good for that setup. I am running a very similar setup, only I have Bassani Road Rage 2-1 and SEPST, but 96 ci, heavy breather, and 255 cams. My bike made 81 HP/93 TQ and the tuner only had it for about 70 minutes or so. It doesn't take a long time for them to tune this set up because they just load a Stage II setup and work backwards. I have zero complaints about the tune because the bike rides great and has excellent throttle response. I think your dealer is correct that adding a 103 kit will not give you very much more for the money without headwork. IMHO you would gain about 6-8 HP and TQ just adding the cylinders and pistons. Another consideration if you do the heads, you will probably need to pull the 255 cams out since the compression will get too high and I do not believe the 255s work well with headwork. I plan on adding a 103 kit with headwork and different cams in the next 2-3 weeks when I take the bike down. If you are happy with how the bike rides, then just ride it until you want more (if you ever do).

I have a question about the dyno chart. I just don't like where the torque and HP lines cross. Is the printer set up wrong? fyi....Torque and HP lines are supposed to cross at 5250 rpm.

jus sayin

Look at it again. The torque and hp are on different scales.

That's about right for a 103, the OP has a 96.

Boogaloo

They are not on different scales. The black hp and torque lines and the red hp and torque lines are supposed to intersect at 5250 rpm. On the dyno chart in question they intersect at ~ 4350 rpm.

See what you think about it after riding it I would say. My buddy out ran a 103" Limited with Stage 1 and a 110" CVO with Stage 1. They are both planning on more engine work now, wife says I'm lucky to have a Ultra, don't even think about spending $$$ to go faster!

I came up on my buddy on a long flat open stretch. I was in 6th, dropped into 5th and opened it up. I got about 3-4 lengths ahead of him thinking I was doing GREAT with my stock 96". He dropped a gear and off he went. I was wide open, and he drove off and left us. Not sure if he went into 5th or 4th. Also, I red line a 5500 RPM, he said his set-up pulls hard into 6000 RPM now, and he red lines at 6250 RPM as set currently. He said he shifts his between 5000-5500 RPM now. Mine is about out of steam at 5000 RPM......
