Bad omen or what???
went to local Harley dealership to sign papers on my new bike. For the last week they have been replacing new stock items with new upgrades that I wanted done to my bike right. So I'm heading home with several boxes of stock parts in the bed of my truck. I had borrowed some tape to secure the box lids[did'nt want things blowing out of the boxes] Ok, so I'm driving up the freeway and the biggest box decides to fly out of my truck and lands smoothly in the middle of freeway traffic. I cant just stop, so I decide to pull over futher up the road. [maybe I can recue it] I put on my flashers got out of my truck and watched freeway traffic obliterate this large box containing my stock inner fairing, stock windshield, and some other small box not quite sure what was in it. [I did call Highway Patrol and report the obstruction] It took little or no time at all for this box to become pieces of plastic and paper. Man the rest of the way home I just coud'nt help but think " what a way to begin the journey ". peace

Could have been worse, could have been new parts you were taking home to install.

Bad luck would be if you reported the obstruction and the trooper wrote you up for improper loading or littering!
