I have a 6x10 V-nose roadforce, rear ramp door, side door,no tie down equipment installed in it,I have no shed or garage, so it is my mini garage during riding season, drive in ..close the door and lock it,dont have to wait for it to cool down to cover it,it out of the weather and safe. it's 5 years old now,not one leak yet! only has 21 miles on it,lol couldnt even feel it behind my pick up the day i bought it and brought it home, very nice trailer for my needs

I have a Horton 6X12 V nose and I haul two bikes in mine. It took a little playing with but I got them in there. I pput the UC in first on the right side and the Dyna behind it on the left and that gives me just enough room to close the door. I stll have plenty of room for my tote wagon and many other things that I use for Bike shows.

I have a 6X10 witch is perfect for me. I can put my 2 bike in it or take my friend bike to escape winter and ride down south.
Note: a dualy wheels is a + if you get a flat. Or get a spare to keep going.
I use 6 tie points in case one broke down. (since I meet this guy crying after he open up his trailer in Daytona and found out that is 40K harley had falled because of a $10 tie strap.)
You will need some king of a wheel choke. Mine is a drive througt kind, witch can also be locked and carry the bike by hiself.
I used a bunch of lock and cable (on wheels) to prevent insurance claim.
A door ramp is a must , unless you carry a ramp that has to be secured.
Make sure nothing can fly around inside when you hall.

I took a trip to Florida last winter the week of Daytona Bike Week. As I stopped at different H.D. dealerships I noticed the bolt heads of the various fasteners on the bikes were rusted. I don't think I could bring myself to have a bike down in the salt air. I am way to fussy for the corrosion it causes.

I was wondering about that. Unless the trailer is airtight, is there really that much difference between it and, say, a good cover or one of those HD "boy in the bubble" things?

I haul my Road King in a "TRANSPORT DLX" It has 8' 6" X 5' inside floor demention...I had them build it with an extra 12" height which added length to the draw bridge rear door for easier loading. I also had them install 4 floor mounted tie down rings...Works very well & don't even know it's behind the motorhome. You should be able to pick one up new for under $2,500.

I live down here and I have to tell ys there aint now rust or corrosion problems. I ride year round and clean my bike regularly as ya have a luv bug problem so never seen any rust. There are lots of classic cars here too lots of em. I would be more concerned with the first few monts of riding up in the north every year with the resudual salt on teh roads rotting your bike out from underneath. teh stock headbolts are made from carbon steel with either zink or galvanized coatingsyhat are made to corrode and will be the first metal to show signs of rust on a bike..

I always look on craigslist for something like that. Check in your area for what may be available.

Ride safe
