103 question
a guy just offered this to me tonight and the wheels in my little melon started spinning. they are off of an 09, but i know that my motor an 02 has a strong bottom end was wondering what it would take to build it.

If you're talking about a 103 from an older Screaamin' Eagle bike then they sure will. It's easy to make an 88" a 103. The flywheels need to be replaced with the 4 3/8 stroke, and the barrells bored .125". That's what the S.E. 103's were. Without the wheels it's just a 95". Later 96" and 110" heads have a dirrerent motor mount setup.

Head volumn does not change cubic inch displacement as we measure it in all engines; bore and stroke are the determining factor of CID . In a non technical way to say, flow does matter , compression ratio also , and on and on and on . It's fun to tweek ur bike perfomance ; but you're probably getting less than a big bang for the buck doing much with your heads and not your CID also.

You can't use the rods or pistons but $200 for cylinders and heads is a bargain. If you don't want the deal, let me know.
That's a smoking deal. I'd be all over that in a second.
i already have the 95 seII with gear drive tw50's, power commander, k&n air filter, klock werks double back header with CFR mufflers. i just didnt know if the jugs were any bigger, and i had heard that the heads flowed alot better then my 02's
