Default 103 question

would the jugs and heads off of a 103 fit on an 88? i dont think so but im going to ask anyway. thanks,

I think they would. But it wouldn't be a 103". Stroke is shorter. Should be a 95".

No, they're not interchangeable. The 103 kit is for the stroker crank, and the pistons have a different wrist pin location.

i thought the cases were different but i wasnt sure but im going to buy them any way for 200 heads, jugs and pistons w/ 12000 miles. thinks thats a good deal? hell some day i might get rich and buy another HD and would have the top end just waiting there..........hahahaha

yes the heads and Jugs would fit an 88. Crank and pistons no but the heads and jugs yes.

i was reading somewhere that the later models flow better then say 02 heads is that true?

in stock form yes. The 06 and later has better exhaust flow. If having ported it does not matter.

i was thinking of getting those ported and being able to still ride then sell mine later. do you know what the bore diff is between a 95 and the 103?

95 and 103 bore is the same, stroke is different.

If you're talking about a 103 from an older Screaamin' Eagle bike then they sure will. It's easy to make an 88" a 103. The flywheels need to be replaced with the 4 3/8 stroke, and the barrells bored .125". That's what the S.E. 103's were. Without the wheels it's just a 95". Later 96" and 110" heads have a dirrerent motor mount setup.
