Default DIY or Indy

I have all the parts to install +2 sweepers, chrome controls, and chrome engine kit.

The primary and tranny top covers are on. The right side covers and rockers are not.

Im asking myself if I want to tackle the rest or some of the rest by myself.

Easy enough to drop it off and tell them to call me when its done.

Not so easy wrestling with the exhaust by myself.

Im thinking maybe have the Indy install the right side covers, clutch cable, rockers, master cylinder and bleed the brakes.

I can do the bars, internal wiring, cruise, and the rest of the chrome controls myself.

If I want to do the right side covers and clutch cable how difficult is the job? Am I going to go nuts dealing with the exhaust?

How about the rockers, seems like alot of guys have trouble finding TDC, I sure dont want to bend anything.

This is the last of the big projects for awhile, she will be pretty much the way I want her until I get tired of the color and send everything off to paint. Im going to get SG pieces and have them painted at the same time so I can swap looks every so often.

DIY! If I can't do it myself - it doesn't get done...

I am pretty much forced to do any mods or upgrades myself due to the costs. I can't afford paying someone to do it these days. In addition, the dealer always seems to scratch or scrape something up. Sometimes even I scratch something up.

The things that you mentioned are a DIY for sure!!! I did everything myself on my last bike (except for mounting tire to rim) and had a **** ton of fun doing and proud as hell after...money saved went to more chrome!!!

Cant wait to get my road king and I will start all over again!

Good luck
