Default 1.25" Saddle Bag Guards.....

Will these work on a 2010 sg? Without buying extra braces etc.?

Works on all 97-2011 touring. The over all look of the larger 1.25" tubing looks better than the wimpy stock ones too! And no extra parts are needed....

I was asking because in order to add the hd guards to my sg I also need the new support brackets because of the way the guards tie into them.

Ours only utilizes the support bar on the bottom....It's a very easy 20 minute installation.

So you're saying that the bottom support bar does not tie into this guard? If it does tie into the bottom guard then an FLHX owner would have to buy a different bottom support bar (that of an FLHT type)

Ah, I see what you are saying....yes, it requires the flht type bar.
