I have a 2009 HD Electra Glide Classic, and once in a while I have a need for a Rider / Passenger intercom. It should be able to work with half helmet or helmetless. What have others done to achieve this type of communication? Thanks, Ray
I installed the HD boom intercom and music kit. Works perfect, integrates with existing radio and it has helmetless headsets. also can add CB later if you need bike to bike communication. It's a little on the pricey side, but I felt worth the reliability, handlebar controls, performance and superb integration.
You can take it even further and add a zumo 665 for integrating your telephone and sattlelite radio as well as the new IPOD kit. Then you'll be able to get all your communication, gps, and tunes via one headset.
cons: corded and price
