Great review guys! This should answer most of the questions about LED headlights and a great comparison. I'm sold on LED's. Personally, I think the JW/HD would be my preference. Now I just need the price to come down a bit more...I wonder what the price would be with a group buy?

Awesome work!

GREAT writeup. I'm like a lot of others here and want to know what the LED head lights look like. I'll probably have to wait a while before I get one but that is the next thing I want for my bike.

Great review, obviously the best headlights on the market, now just waiting until they become more affordable.

Good write up. I went with the Custom Dynamics LED and Sunspots mainly because I am a tight ***. Although you can order the Harley LED from M&M or Zanottis and get it less.

Thanks guys, I keep telling myself that I've spent enough bucks on my ride and like it the way it is but now with this review I will upgrade at least the headlight. Thanks again.

How much farther out does the JW light extend compared to stock? Is the adapter ring necessary? Could you modify the stock headlight housing to allow a good fit?

That is a helluva review. I glanced through it mobile but don't have time to read the whole thing right now. Gonna do the full read when I get home. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Excellent write-up. The difference in dispersal patterns is pretty interesting. With cost being equal, the JW would seem to be the easy choice. At twice the price of the CD, I'll stick with the CD.

I do think I'll end up with the H-D passing lamps though.

You have one of those rings on your current headlamp, that one gets replaced with the one that fits the new headlamp. It is necessary, but you will not notice it once the installation is finished.
