Well I had the SE 204 cams installed (V&H Pro Pipe & TTS Mastertune) and dyno'd today, and here are the results! Not bad imo, but more importantly the bike 1) Runs 100% smoother thru all the gears, 2) accelerates off the line significantly better, 3) You can definitely feel the power difference, and 4) the exhaust sounds better! Well worth it imo.
Dyno Bob, did an excellent job as usual, having tuned my two prior bikes. Not a significant increase, on paper, over my 2006 Road Glide (90hp/100trq on the 95" 2006 Road Glide vs 98hp/109trq on the 103" 2011 Ultra) with the same set up but certainly a significant improvement in this particular bike.
The 204s are just a great cam for the 103 bikes. Great manners around town, and the power is right there when you twist the throttle. The hardest thing to do is to stay out of the throttle. Congratulations.
Thanks all! I just wanted to let the bike run like it is suppose to, without being choked down, and now it has the smoothness and power the motor was meant to have. Ron (owner of R.C. Cycles) said I may get a little more HP with the WOODS triple nickles, but suggested staying w/204s if I wanted to stay within HD warranty (which was a concern for me). Also I had 204s in the Road Glide and liked how they performed.
Just A/C, Mastertune, V&H Pro Pipe, & SE 204s.
