Radio Keeps Changing On Its Own
Hi guys and gals, I have a 06 Ultra and am wondering if this has happened to anyone. Driving along and the radio changes to the weather band. This started about a week ago. Can anyone shed some light on this, or is this a rare occurence that I only am experiecing. I also have some tiny sound rattle when the bike first starts in the morning then it goes away. Totally mystifying. This is my first harley and would appreciate any information. Thanks to the many that have helped me in the past.

My radio will sometimes hang on the FM screen after I turn it off from listening to a CD. It didn't do it until I installed the radio upgrade flash. I plan on re-flashing it. Sometimes the volume will adjust slowly and sometimes it is mute or WFO???

I had the same problem. The previous poster is correct. It is the alert. Change to the westher band and then press the button where it says alert. (if alert is on the screen will be darkened under the "alert" )

if this is not what it is and your listening to a CD I think the next thing on the list is the WB. My bike had a pinched wire in the controls and it was causing it to do this.
