Really? What brand is the fairing? I looked at Dragonfly, and by the time I added everything up it was over 2 large (fairing, paint, amp, speakers, head unit).QUOTE]
I fairing was purchased off e-bay, it's not one of the china knock off's, the guy I purchased from builds them in his own shop. I work for a boat dealer so I got some real good deals on electronic. The paint work cost me 4 gallons of Yamaha outboard oil. The wiring harness is a Yamaha outboard trim extension harness.
Like I said, I'm a horse trader.
Have you got some info on your fairing?
I had looked at some last year at Bikes/Blues& BBQ in Fayetteville..seems like they were around $400 which included winshield, stereo, speakers and wiring.I used to have the info on my PC but unfortunately I lost all that.
rklew, that is a dang fine looking bike. I am partial to black though. LOL. I looked at a picture of your bike in another post no less than 20 times when trying to decide on chroming my stock wheels.
I came across a super deal on some Airstrikes and finally decided on them. But man those chromed 28 spokes sure look good on your bike. Extremely classy looking ride.

2004Sierra,Thanks a lot for the compliments, the wheels were one of the first things I did on the bike. I really like the 28 spoke chromed out, they really shine in the sunlight going down the highway.
Here's a shot of my (new to me) 98 Road King Classic when I bought it ------->
And here's how it sat before I put it away for the Chicago winter --->
In about a month the bike is getting torn apart for a 21x3.5 spoke wheel up front along with another 1'' of lowering, lowered stock front fender, 6-piston front brake caliper, lots of powdercoating, street glide rear signal setup, etc. Would love to get a pair of extended hardbags but just isnt in the budget right now..
If anyone wants to trade a set of hardbags for my soft ones PLEASE let me know
Will post some pics after the winter work is done..
Here's my 2011 RK.......... Cool Blue/Vivid Black. I brought her home on Sept. 14th and had to put her away on Thanksgiving Day weekend with 3400 miles on her. This is an old pic. I changed all the amber lenses to smoke lenses.
just took her to my buddy's place......waiting on my new mods to show up.

...here is my latest. I bought it yesterday from one of the new car dealers in the local area. It's a 2009 with only 1475 miles...the owner decided motorcycling wasn't for him. I got a great deal on it and the bike already has the stage 1 kit, H-D Fat Bars and chrome grips, H-D stainless cables, riders backrest, cruise, and unkown exhaust. It did not have the windshield with it...guess he sold that on ebay. Anyway I just sold a 2010 Limited and have had several RK's in the past...my first RK was a brand new 2007. I love RK's!
