I was able to tighten it all the way up, no trick to it. Mind you, I removed the factory ring. The instructions said to put the visor over and hooked behind the stock one. There's absolutely no way the visor was going to fit to do that. Hope it answers your question?

I never thought of shimming the head light out, I still have that gap, but i put tabs behind the screws for the visor to grab, now I have to warm up the garage to try your method out

Going from vivid black to blue. Had to pull the nacelle to pull the girls to disassemble and ensure they are not bent. Thankfully they do not appear to be. One minor patch job left to do, then the reassembly begins.
Almost done. Thinking new pipes (a little run on the slip ones). Fish tail? 2011 Road King Classic. Midnight Blue and Barracuda Silver. Lighting doesn’t do it justice.

Thank you. She's a keeper. For my Jan 16, 2002 birthday I decided I wanted a 2002 FLHRCI. I picked the bike up in February 2002 after having ordered it in November 2001. In 2002 I took the tank off and I found the date of manufacture to be 01/16/2002.
