Man!! Beautiful bike. When I think about the classic look of a Road King...THAT is the picture that I have in my mind.
Here is one photo from another fellow owner (not my bike)...
Cheers dude. I've tried to be selective regarding the parts I've added so the overall look is changed for the better, but in a very subtle way. Appreciate the comments.

my 1998 Road King Police - it's a true "switchblade" before there was a name for it, haha. When I ride alone, the windshield and tour-pack come off in less than 5 minutes (I've gone to wingnuts on the tour-pack)....and then when the wife ride rides along...it's all back on in a jiffy - love this bike!
I have to remember to never look at this thread again. Just when I think I know what I want, someone posts a pic of something completely different for me to consider. Is the RK like the most customizable easiest to personilze bike made or what?
I picked up this new 2013 Road King this spring . Had a few mods done right away . My wife rides with me a lot so she wanted a to ride in comfort coming from a Heritage .
We went with a dual heated seat with arm rests for her and I had a set of Azzkikr Apes put on with heated grips and they have come in quite handy as the morning temps are in the high 30's .
Going to have a set of streached bags and a 2 to 1 exhaust put on I do not like the Reinharts I purchased but they will do for now .
A little bit of both worlds for my wife and I .
