I've had good luck with boogey lights. No problems been on a few years now, easy install with there cut and click series. Only problem was I cut one too close and it shorted during install, it was clearly my fault but they sent me a new one out anyway. Can't beat that for customer service.
10 + on the Joe Florida lights!!!!!!!!! I have 140 Red/White and Blue lights on my burgundy Wine Red EGC and they really command attention wherever I go.
As Dr. Plastic said, in some states they are illegal to run while riding. I sometimes turn mine to the Blue or Red while riding and no one has said anything in the 3 years I have had them on. I use the 15 position remote and while parked turn them on to different strobe positions and the kids coming by really like them and I will let them play with the remote to change up the sequence and it makes their night!!!!
I ride with the patriot guard and I have the dash done out in R/W/B and the lights truly accent the dash, I even have the speaker grills done in silver with Red LEDS behind that as well.
Here's a short video of my Joe Florida lights. His products, support and prices are hard to beat! There are so many colors you can find one that is legal in most places to run em. I have never had a problem as long as they are on and not 'strobing' while moving.
maybe it's a generational thing, i don't get the idea of lighting up a motorcycle. each to their own though. it just conjures up the new word that was used in the movie wild hogs. that word being "posers". carnival, one mile ahead.
