Hey guys,
I took off my windshield the other day to do some cleaning between it and the windshield bag. I over tightened the screws!!!! when I put it back on. I remember seeing here someone else did the same thing ( I'm not the only dope , I hope, here). One of you guys gave a part number for replacement windshield inserts.....would you be so kind as to give that out again.. I did try a search but only got part of the part number.
Thanks,
Mike
On search I found 16585-96 for a pn# If you call a dealer and give them that part number they shoul be able to tell you if it is correct, or just ask for the brass inserts for a windshield and they will know (should know)
While you are at the dealer, order part # 99456-06A. It is the 06 Touring Model parts catalogue. A great book to have on hand. The schematics are very good. Best $48 I have spent.
