Is there anyway (besides actually measuring) to determine the dimensions of a bolt with a Harley part number? I've looked in two different parts catalogs in the hardware section and didn't see these bolts listed (the bolts are not from the bike in question). I've also looked online at Chicago HD's site, but the description isn't complete. I was curious about the following part numbers:
4524 - SCREW, BTN, HEX, SCKT, CHRM/LO
4523 - SCREW, BTN, HEX, SCKT, CHRM/LO
It's in the back of the parts manual. I checked the Softail, V-rod, and Touring parts manuals and those two screws aren't listed. Maybe someone can find it in the Dyna or Sportster parts manuals.
A somewhat related question... I am building a 2000 dyna basket case. Is there anywhere that would have a list of the bolts (like the transmission bolt size, motor mount bracket size)?
