Ha- 45 minute ride North to 5000' elevation, it's nice and cool up there. and
Flagstaff, Grand Canyon even higher ( and cooler) all that is pretty ok for the summer heat
You guys have a mean streak running right through you. It never got out of the teens today and the wind chill took it down to 3 degrees. I have to walk by my bike every morning to get to my truck to head out to work. I keep clicking my heels together hoping spring will show up.
Every time I read one of those posts describing a sunny warm day of riding when I'm in single digit temps and a foot of snow I stop for a moment to appreciate my good fortune. I went for a 2 hour ride today it was clear and sunny. Awesome ride, but got a little hot and had to turn down the Gerbing heater. I think it was in the mid 20s here in Missouri.
being that the weather here in oklahoma usually comes from the southwest, send a little heat this way. it's been uncommonly cold here in eastern oklahoma. not nearly as bad as in the midwest though. we have about three months till spring starts a poppin. or like walmart likes to announce, two days after christmas, they're stocking the shelves with easter stuff.
