Default Clean Up Front Fenders

Has anyone taken off the trim and skirt off of the front fender? What did you do with the holes if anything? If you have any pics that would be cool to see. Thanks

It would be easier and cheaper to just buy a clean Street Glide or Road Glide fender from ebay or somewhere like that. Sometimes you will get lucky and find one already painted the color you need.

I'm thinking about removing the parts and painting them black.

I pretty much turned my 05 Classic into a SG. I removed the bumper and trim, lowered the fender with Native Custom Baggers brackets welded from the inside of the fender and then removed the rivets, filled the holes and had it repainted.

Very nice! That fender drop sure does change the look of it!
I like the clean fender also. Been thinking about pulling off my bumper and that chrome trim its mounted in/on at least.....

I removed all the trim on my 09 FLHT, left the holes there cause you can't see them unless you look close. I added the winged skull emblem to the front to cover up the indentation from the light.

I powder coated mine; but I don't think the holes would have been all that noticable.
