Default Front Spring 1" Drop Install ?

I went to the dealer and spoke to them about having install the 1" drop springs from Progressive on my 2010 UC ? He said he thinks there is 4 hours to do it and said he did not know of Ricor enhancment to the springs ? What is involved because Progressive said it takes about 1 hour to do it? Maube they are not thinking of the FAIRING rmoval? Or the triple tree take down? Anyone have done this before on the UC and what system did you use ?

It will take more than an hour on the fairing bike. I think it also depends on if you have the drop in kit or not.

I have done it on a dyna in about 45 mins with the fork tube tool that compresses the cap and spring down (****). On a fairing bike you have to remove the wheel, fender, inner fairing part around the upper triple clamp, then pop off the cap and replace the valve, springs and spacer. Probably 3-4 hours, but you would think a dealer has done enough to be better at it than 4 hours.

It's a four hour deal, all day or more for a first timer. Do the chrome or black lowers while you are doing the springs.
