Thinking about haveing the dealer install this kit while the snow is on the ground. 2009 Ultra, true-dual exhaust, a/c etc. but would like a bit more pull. Anyone have the Screamin' Eagle kit in? They have quoted me on all of the parts, labour and about 3hrs of dyno time. Quote comes in just shy of $3k...is this in the ball-park? Since I have extended warranty I am told if dealer installed would not affect this. Any thoughts or info. is appreciated? Thanks.

IMO ifyou don't do headwork you're just about as good off as putting a good set of cams in your 96". Like mentioned above, i'd look into a good 107, not much difference in price. I put a Zippers revolution 107 in a buds Road King, adjustable pushrods, head work with compression releases all for just under 2 grand. The headwork was $750 of it.
Local dealer will do it for $ 1800.00 or less for 103" stage II, depends what you don't need like air filter or so will reduce the price. And your warranty will be good.
3 grand sounds very high just for kit and labor and dyno. My local dealer was doing it for $995 installed. That didnt include dyno time, but even adding in dyno wouldnt come close to what they are trying to spank u for.

3k seems about right if your bike is completely stock, meaning your build comes with exhaust, SERT, and actaul dyno tune. I haven't checked prices for Jamies build but if it was close I think I would go 107. Their dyno chart looks good.
Just my .02 but I think with some of the awesome cams that are out there that going with a 103 would be selling short. With some head work and a set of cams along with a great tuner/AC and pipes on a 96 would be alot less money with the same results.
Do the basics first, cams, exhaust(2-1), air/fuel management. Pull the most out of what you have - if not the basic upgrade to more cubic inches will dissapoint. I've learned the hard way - $$, trust the experts (not me), pop off an email to Gary Wallace (Andrews) and/or Bobby Woods(legend) and trust me they will get you on the right track. IMHO don't get so wrapped up in more inches, concentrate on what you have first. Do the right things to a 96" and you'll blow away any stock 103" or 110". Of course if you add these enhancements to a larger bore = more HP. Depends on how deep your pockets are - I guess in the end a bb 103" or larger will only benefit if you do the basics along with it. Just my .02.
