The baffle of one of the mufflers is rattling. It is rattling where the baffle and the pipe come together on the inside of the muffler. I have applied muffler crack sealer to the baffle so there would be no gaps in the joint and reassembled, but in a few miles, that fix breaks down and I get the rattle again. Screws are in good and tight, plus locktite.

Anyone else have had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix.

 

I pulled the baffles out and punched the end plugs out of them. I've seen that some have the plug and some don't, mine did. Of course the sound got a bit louder but no more rattles. Oh the bike shakes more at idle too.
