I believe that Jamie has answered all my questions and then some. I will be doing business with them in the future. Thats for damn sure
Thanks
When you do just make sure you get everything in writing.
I talked to them on the phone and ordered/paid for new V&H pipes, PC-V (retro) for my '07, Stage 1. They quoted price for all that plus 2 position map switch option w/switch. Specifically told the sales guy, not Jamie, that I wanted to be able to switch back and forth at times for fuel economy as I had read about the expected 6-7 mpg fuel loss.
When it arrived it did not have the map switch. I called the guy and he said that would be more $$ as that was not part of the price he quoted me. I didn't have a confirmation e-mail or anything so it was his word against mine.
Fuel Moto & Jamie are A+-#1.
They know a helluva lot more about my scoot than most of the guys I've dealt with at MY local HD dealer. I'll tell ya that much for sure.
Well I'm glad its funny to you but the way they talk their all about doing stuff to make sure it corresponds with any warranty issue so that made me think it was part of HD so get up off the floor now.,..... : )
I'm on the fence about making a purchase from Fuel Moto, and picking up a set of 2-1-2 headers. Only thing stopping me is the extra cost of picking up a power commander and getting it tuned. That's a lot of cash.

I've found that most HD dealers treat our internet knowledge
about our bikes with disdain. It's almost like they hate he fact we may know as much (or even more) than them about our bikes and this knowledge is free to us via the internet. I've brought up topics to them that we have discussed on this forum and I either get the 'deer in the headlight' routine or 'you can't believe what you read online' attitude. Some of them are always interested in learning with you but most believe that we can't (or shouldn't) learn as much or more than them about HD. After all, we're just the 'customer'
I have found that the internet has cost me a lot of money. I don't believe I would have done the add-ons to the extent that I have, without this site and a couple of others. I also have found out about a few things that H.D. probably would have just as soon that I didn't know. There is a lot of doom and gloomers about our favorite rides, but you have to sift through and sort out just what to believe and what is a bunch of sour grapes. Take this rant for what it is worth, not much.
