Just getting ready for a ride and noticed a nail in the tire. Tire isn't flat, and only a few PSI low (38). Probably picked it up yesterday on a 68mi ride. Have the ESP with tire coverage. Tire is about 3/32.5 on tread depth. What can I expect from the dealer?
Say hello to your new and free tire, so long as you have OEM tires. I don't believe the wheel and tire coverage pays for any other brand
I picked up a screw this summer, first time ever. This guy was way too happy to be hauling away my bike. It was good you noticed while at home.
That Sucks, I hate to put the bike on a trailer. Hopefully I will be able to ride the bike there slowly about 20mi. I'm waiting to see if it holds air. If all else fails, I have Soos as Back-up! You do know that Soos does HouseCalls Don't You?

Careful not to use up that last bit of tread keeping you over the 3/32
House calls are done within reason and the trip sounds appealing but baby has been put to bed for the winter.
Send it here on the rail, don't forget that one wheeled thingy, as I might need storage space for the long trip back to Your place. The trip should'nt be a problem for You after the Iron Butt award. lol
Thank's for all of Your replies, and I will have it fixed before riding again. As Faast Ed mentioned I have the ESP with tire coverage. Has anyone had experience at having tires replaced under the ESP?
I have the extended warranty to include wheels and tires and picked up a nail in rear tire with less than 500 miles on the bike. Dealer put a new tire on, free of charge, and no questions asked.
I was pleasantly surprised, needless to say.
If you add a few more nails you'd be all set to ride up this way. It's called a studded tire.
UPDATE: Took My bike to Barnett's HD today. Rick, the service writter, looked at the nail, and measured 5/32 thread depth and told me They would put a new rear tire on at no charge. Since the front was at 3/32, I told the to replace it for $189.56. Now as soon as I can get some Tire chains I will be off to visit SOOS. Barnett Hd would not install studs as SOOS recommended! Can't hate HD's ESP!
our local dealer was doing service on friends bike and told him rear tire was getting thin. then he said do you want to go for a quick trip to find nail?well next day buddy rode almost to dealer and i got out with screw gun!! damn he pickup sheetrock screw!! replaced no problem!!and they will not patch a tire or plug it may get them to put tube in if you are lucky!!
