Well after some time spent talking with various builders on here and phone calls to others and my local Harley dealer I decided to go with a Stage IV 103 kit with local dealer right out of the SE catalog with a few changes. We got rid of the cams and the tuner that come with the kit and added Wood TW400-6 cams and TTS tuner. Also added SE roller rockers, oil cooler and Andrews 31t front pulley and new HD lifters.
Bike already had V&H power duals w/M.O. and SE heavy air intake. Got it back a week ago sunday and very happy so far.Dealer did base map and wants me to get 1000mi. on it before final tune. So only 90mi due to weather. I have to say though I can't wait to crack the throttle, night and day difference, a lot of fun. There is more valve train noise now but then Harleys are noisy any way IMO. Sorry for the long Thread.
Most of the noise will go away after a few thousand miles. I had noise too but no issues now.......unless it is a very hot day, then the valve train will rattle a bit.
The #'s so far are 106 hp and 121 tq. I have a dyno sheet scanned in to my computer and tried to add it but I keep getting a msg. that it is to large and I can not figure out how to shrink it. Any help would be appreciated.
Search for photo resizer program, I found one that was free to download. It only took about 10 minutes to download program and resize and upload pics to the forum. I'm not a computer savy person but it was pretty simple.
