Does any if know if the new Harley road tech navigation interface will work with the garmin road tech 550.

I have a 550 and would like to use he interface with the 550 if it would would work, the harley book only mentions the 660 and 665.

Any help would be appreicated.

 

The NIM only works with the HD branded 660 and 665. There is a lot of talk about this issue on other forums. The current software doesn't allow the use of earlier HD models or non-HD branded units with the NIM.

I feel that it's just a matter of time before there is a workaround for this but at this time the answer is NO.
