Default power point

Anyone here have the handle bar mounted Kuryakyn Electric Power Point. If so, how do you like it and would you recommend.

Sorry, I don't have the Kuryakyn product, but I did make my own last year for my '93. I got a spare lighter socket (with trap-door cover), made the wiring harness and fabricated a mount for the bars. I didn't fuse it, but only used accessories that have fuses in their plug. Most chargers have fuses.

I would highly recommend a 12-volt power plug of some sort on any bike.

Don't forget to take a nice long ride afterwards to charge up your battery if you are going to use it with something like a pump that will have a strong draw and be used while the bike is off.
