Default V-Thunder Valva Ride Stabilizer

Hello all,

Has anyone try this? Comments?

http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/...18&click=37735

After adding the Progressive stabilizer, definitely feel more vibration, especially @ idle. Will the above "tame" it down a little. I think these replace the stock motor mounts to the frame. Or since my '08 is a rubber mount anyway, would these do any good, or ill effects?

Thanks in advance. Ride safe.

I went with the Velva ride urethane front engine mount and it reduced the vibration significantly, almost to stock levels. That's what I had to go with in order for the progressive stabilizer to be tolerable.

Thank you for the reply, these look like tiny shock absorbers, different from the urethane engine mount. That's another thought though.

BTW, the original link no-workie, try this:

Pretty rare we hear of the Touring Link inducing vibration and when we do it's almost always because the washer under the connecting rod is missing or the rod is mounted backwards. Both of which could allow the connecting rod to touch the brackets and induce vibration. Take a quick look, there should be a flat washer between the connecting rod and the supplied bracket and the connecting rod should be mounted with the visible threaded end on the trans bracket.
