I think I've mentioned this before, but I believe it's starting to get worse. How many of you guys experience vibration in your floorboards at various RPM's? Before when I talked about this, several guys said to check for perfect clearance etc as it related to my VH True Dual Dressers. I have and at this point, I can't see anywhere that would be the issue. My bike is a 06 Street Glide with a 95" motor and SE 203 Cams (basic stage II setup.) I don't THINK there was near this much vibration, and in fact I don't actually remember it being an issue at all when I ran with stock pipes and VH Oval slip ons. Now until I either get right in the sweet RPM spot or have it cruising around 3K RPM I'm getting a pretty good buzz from the boards. My softail didn't have any of that of course due to the fixed motor vs the rubber isolated one, until it got up to around 70, then the buzz started
The bike has a SERT and has been tuned when the duals were installed, and tweaked once since. So is it normal and something I should expect, or do those of you with duals or just slip-on's have any examples where you have little to no floorboard vibration at any rpm? Thanks for any replies!
I have a '06 SG with a SERT. The bike has been dyno tuned 2x. I have plenty of vibration in the floorboards until I get to 2800 RPMS. This drives me crazy! I'm actually thinking of setting my ECM back to stock (if that is possible) and installing a PCIII from Fuel-Moto
