Just installed the Bright Axx tail light today on my EG...... Man, what a difference, however I did not choose the brightest option or the wildest brake pattern, that the light has to offer.... You use a magnet to change the intensity of the light and the sequence of flash pattern... I could see where some of the intensity levels and the flash patterns could be disturbing to a cage or bike that follows you........ One thing for sure... you will be seen when you brake and thats a good thing........ hdman
Don't worry it being "disturbing" to a cage..
I believe that was the intention of BAL to be seen.
Did your's come with the foam cover on the inside of it, or?
When I bought mine, which incidentally was one of the first mods I did, it did not have the stock foam inside covering that the original had so I contacted BAL and they sent me one.
I run Hyperlite's brake turn signal combo unit mounted on their license plate bracket. Twas a **** ton cheaper than buying the BAL. Had a similar Hyperlite setup on my 04

I put the HD taillights and turn signal that operate as brake lights also on mine. I also put Custom Dynamics 96 led boards in my tour pak lights. I think Stevie Wonder can see me now.
That was the first mod that I made to my RK when I bought it in April. I think it's well worth the money, especially now when the weather gloomy and it gets dark earlier. A tap of my brakes gets the attention of the momos behind me.
