If you are not dead set on leather, Harley makes a black pouch that might work.
I just saw one of those at the dealer...Nice!!! Should have a flap with velcro to be Ezier to open, the zipper is a little slow but works...would work good for coffin nails... :-)..............o~`o.................
Google "Daytona Tank Bags" and you will pull up everything from a cig holder to a holster tank bag. Nice product. I carry my Glock in a holster on my tank.
ive always had problems with the vibration, open a pack after its been on the bike awhile and get a bunch of empty smokes with all the tobacco crumbs on the bottom.bit in a pinch i put em in the pocket on the back of the rider backrest.
When I smoked (quit) I carried my flip top pack in the left lower fairing with no problems.
It also served as my ash tray for the butts so I would just toss them to he side of the road.
I got a good one from the dealer for about 8 bucks. It's the kind that you wear on your belt, I cut the belt strap off and cut the threads on the bottom of it. I next slid a piece of 1/16" alum. through it with a hole in it and a slight bend so it holds down tight then mounted it to my lower dash bolt. This one even has a place for a lighter too. If you polish the alum. good enough, it looks like chrome, not that you will see very much of it. I'll try to post a few pics if I can figure out how. I hope this helps or at least gives you an idea or two.
