My wife gave me one of their recurve windshields for my RoadGlide this Christmas. Unfortunately she gave me the 14" clear. I look two inches over the stock 16" windshield, so the 14" is pretty short for me. It actually works above 55 mph., but I'd like the extra protection at all speeds.
I called Windvest & explained the problem. Without any hesitation they looked up the purchase, offered to exchange for just the $10 price difference, & waived the shipping. He gave me an RMA number, but said he'd get the new one on the way today. That's customer service! My thanks to Windvest (in case they monitor the forum)
Same issue here got a 10" for xmas but really needed a 12", Called them and no issues on exchange, but I drove there because its only 30 miles away. For anyone looking to buy now thay are advertising 10% off sale (I think it was 10%) anyway its a sale!

I just checked their website, and I don't see anything about a sale.
Btw, Dennis Kirk has the RG shield for $141.99 and free shipping.
I was out at Sturgis and bought one for my wifes SG. I already have one on my RG and it works great. Anyway, I got him down on the price a little which made me happy but when we get it back to her bike (at the campground) it's just too tall. She rides all day with it anyway and put like 50 grasshoppers into the thing. A day later as we are heading home and about to pass the place I think, heck, lets see if they will trade it out for a shorter one. Can't hurt to try... Dude not only takes the dirty one back (I had no cleaner on me), he asks if we want our money back. I ask for a shorter one instead. I kinda ask if all of the windshields have that little windvest logo sticker on them and how mine (for the RG) didn't come with one for some reason. He goes back in the truck gets a few of the stickers, hands them to me and as we are walking out gives me a full bottle of his cleaner (which is Novus #1 BTW) for free. Grin.
Two thumbs up for Windvest!! I have one for my Night Train and one on my Road Glide and love them both. I bought the one for the Night Train at Laughlin and they put it on, I went for a ride, swapped it out for another and they were great the whole time.
