Default cams price?

ok so, im thinking of putting a set of cams into my bike. i have a 2010 SG with a RSD intake, D&D Fat cat, and a VH fuel pack. currently making 73 HP.

im thinking of the TW6 or the SE255 cams. i know i will also need to do a PC5 and a dyno tune.

my question is what did you pay for your cams and install? I know the price of the PC5 and a tune.

am i on here? is there a better option? what kind of number should i expect?

I bought my cams from a forum member with low mileage and did the job myself for $285 total, including a Beatty inner-bearing tool and install kit. Best bang-for-the-buck I've ever put on a performance upgrade. You can find SE255 CVO pulls on Ebay for around $150. If you want to DIY there are some threads here that will guide you through it. If not, dealers and indies are all over the map on pricing, so you'll have to get quotes. I think you can expect them to estimate 4-6 hours if you use adjustable pushrods.

Be careful in your cam selection if you plan on keeping stock compression, and there are quite a few threads on that subject here, as well as which cams might be best for you. Which is best depends on your riding style and where in the power band you want the power. If you buy a PCV from Fuel Moto they will likely have a map for your setup, even with a cam upgrade, so you probably wouldn't need a dyno-tune.
