I use Pig Spit. Similar to S100 Engine Brightener but slightly cheaper.

+1 on the S100 Engine Brightener - really brings the "new" back to a wrinkle finish. Plus, unlike WD40, it doesn't attract dust and you don't need to apply it after every wash. Might have to try that Pig Spit just for giggles.

Do you know the process for using the engine cleaner? Put it on manually or spray? And does it come off chrome ok afterwards?

Thanks
to apply it comes with a fan spray nozzle, just spray it on and thats it, overspray wipes off chrome real easy....as far as if you have any wax on the black engine I started a thread and a member mentioned brake cleaner and a stiff brush will remove the wax and not harm finish

I'm a S100 Engine Brightener guy too!

As far as how often you need to apply the S100, it depends on the conditions you ride in and how dirty your bike gets. I do mine a few times a year.

My Duece with 80,000 miles still looks new. In fact, when I got my new Limited and brought it home, the Duece actually looked better than the brand new bike until I hit the new one with the S100.

I stumbled onto a product called Pig Glow for Motors, Jugs and Wheels. Leaves everything black like it came from the assembly line. Even gives the tires a nice new black look without the dangers of losing traction like other products. I was skeptical at first but after several uses just before taking off for a ride with no problems I don't even think about it any more. A simple spray on, wait five minutes and a quick rinse and dry as needed.

Available through HD Dealers in the Kansas City area and through Cycle Connections on line. I am in no way affiliated with Pig Glow but really like the product.

Used to use S100, tried the pig sht, now use WD 40, it does not attract dirt. Freshen up every 3-4 washes. Much cheaper.
