2nd day at dealership---got new battery yesterday 1000 mile service today---asked the service guy how much to install Vance and Hines slip ons, PC111, and Big Sucker air.
They said they are not installing aftermarket parts on 07's don't want to be liable if anything goes wrong.
Your thoughts please.

My dealer will install pipes, cams, heads that you bring them.
They told me they will NOT sell anything not tagged as street legal.
They will not load a race cartridge or SERT.
They also have nothing to do anymore. Kind of a good thing. More money for the indy's AND I can get an appointment with minutes notice
Dealer will come out OK, I'm sure. CARB ratings are coming, and most states honor that.

Ya, I just did pipes yesterday and it took less than an hour to do an entire exhaust swap.
Of course 5 of the 6 mounting bolts were missing already... but that's just another 2 minutes.

My dealer will install anything you bring them or order from them whether it HD stuff or Aftermarket they don't care.

Sometimes its all about who you talk to. My dealer has a superviser at the parts desk that will tell you all about doom and gloom if you mention anything other than Harley or screaming eagle parts, so one day Im in there asking about the PCIII with my V&H headers and doom and gloom guy chimes in on how he doesnt want to sell me the PCIII because it will cause damage to my motor and void my warranty and blah blah blah and what I need is the Race tuner( for $200 more). Well he walks away to help someone else and another guy basically tells me on the down low that the other guy doesnt know what hes talking about and the PC is a good product for the money, gives me some tips about programing it, and offers me a 10% discount on it.
