Help, Windshield cracked, how to fix????

So i was on Ebay and found a National Cycle Wave shield, listed as like new, and I won The auction for 23.00 !!!! the shield is over 100 bucks new. So i get it in the mail today and the Left mounting hole as 2 maybe 1/4" - 1/2" spider cracks going up like it was overtightend. I only paid 20 bucks for the shield so i dont wanna return it it would cost me as much in shipping. and once the shield is mounted it probably wouldnt even be noticable. How ever I DONT want them getting any bigger. A buddy of mine told me to take a small drill bit and drill a hole at the end of the crack then fill it with superglue. What do you guys think, any advice would be helpful.

I'd toss it in the garbage and not buy from that seller again.JMHO.

You been had. Give the seller a real bad rating. If its woth it to you start a dispute through eBay or ask the seller to take it back and pay shipping.

+1 on the drill a small hole in the end of the crack. I usually just fill it with silicone not super glue, but the glue should work.

Yep it works. Did mine 2 years ago & it's been fine.
