I bought part numbers 68127-10 and 68435-10.
They are the new LED turn sinals. The harley website and the paper work in the box say's 2001 and later touring models, but the box says 1999 and later. The guy at the dealer says he doesn't go by the website, he goes by what the box says. I have a 2000 Road king classic. So the box says it will work, but the website and paper work says 2001 and later. Any advice before I start this project?
I can't offer you any advice about whether they will work on your bike, but,I installed the rear ones on my 09 and I'm very happy with the operation and visibility.Just take your time, and put them together on soft towel etc,so as not to scratch the chrome.
The only problem I had was on the front. The gray wire that feeds your spotlights has to be fished thru the plastic conduit of the signal light. Take and grind down a small allen wrench and use it to release the pins in the connectors.Take your time and it will go. The rest is a piece of cake.
