Hi,
I use this charger on the Harley because there is a splash proof cap on the connector of the harness: http://www.gys.fr/spip.php?page=prod...t_id=8&lang=en
I use a cable tie to fix the little connector onto the rear left luggage bar. It sticks out 1.5 inch under the bar.
I have a Delran Battery Tender Jr. If you are only charging the one bike you don't need to go for the higher end models unless you want some of their specific features. You can check their products out here:
If your bike sits outside that is the one to get. I was looking at getting that one because mine sits outside. That one is waterproof which makes it perfect. If your bike is inside for storage you can save some money and get the cheaper one. If all you want it a tender then these work fine but if you want to charge a weak battery I would recommend getting a charger as well. These will do it if the voltage isnt past a certain point but take a very long time to do it.
