I know there are many threads covering wind deflectors, and many opinions regarding how they look and work. Here's my two cents. They took about 5 minutes to install on my 2010 Road King. They really cut down on the amount of wind coming up from under the windshield. They look fine with the windshield installed. I'll probably only use them in the winter and remove then in the spring when I start taking off the windshield.
I also installed highway pegs on the crash bars. These are very comfortable and they'll help on long rides. The RK is comfortable to start with and the highway pegs make it more so.
I just put them on my 05 RK.
They work great, sitting in the garage with temps in the low teens.
Can't waite for spring.
I hope spring comes soon for you. It was in the low 50's at about 5:00PM when I was riding home last night from watching the football game. The wind deflectors made the ride comfortable.
i have a friend with the chrome or stainless wind deflectors on his road king. i've ridden it a few times and i think they work great and don't look out of place at all. i use another type of wind deflectors on my batwing fairing, but they also work great. i know that the fork air baffle is a huge improvement too. it attaches to the lower triple tree and stops a lot of air from blasting up between the forks and gas tank.

Man you guys from California, got it made.
My oldest son is in Texas, he's always telling me what the temp is down there after he gets back from a ride. I just tell him he sucks.
We're getting snow again tonight.
Have fun.
I'm heading out to the garage right now to replace a shear pin in my Craftsman TracDrive snowblower.....and then unplug the Battery Tender hooked up to the Ultra to plug in the electric start on the snowblower, and deal with the five inches of winter wonderland that fell today....
Two more years....two more years.....actually one year and 10 months and I'm outa here.
Anyone here from Prescott AZ ? Looks like just the spot to be...not to hot in the summer, not too cold in the winter, with an easy ride down to the desert.
