I have a 2009 FLHP 103ci and I'm wondering what type of water I should put in my crank. Distilled, ionized or should I go tho the local Harley dealer and get some out of the bathroom.
Don't discount the effects of relative humidity and the pressure in the oil system also. I get it now, its my signature that's throwing folks off, easy fix, thanks. I'm not the old dude with the answers, I'm seeking the answers.

Fuel in the oil is as much of a concern as the water. With some fuels you can actually see a shift in engine operation (fuel trims) when the fuel lights off at a specific temp. It's worse on E85/E70, but regular E10 does it as well. It happens well before the water burns off, though.
Water will evaporate at any temp (on this planet anyway)
