I have been riding with a Shoei RF-1000 (full face) for a few years now. I like it a lot. I tried some modulars, but they just didn't make a good fit for my head. I'm a true believer in full face. I remember a few years ago Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburg Steelers QB) was in a motorcycle accident. A car had stopped short in front of him, and he flew forward onto it. I read that he would not have been hurt at all if he had a full face helmet. Personally, I don't have much of a face, but I still use it for work. I like to limit my risks. It may not make a difference most of the time, but it doesn't bother me to wear it. Ride Safe!

Scorpion EXO-900. Would prefer the safety of a traditional full face but since I wear glasses I like the convenience of the modular. I rarely convert it but I do like that I can make it a 3/4 helmet in less then a minute.

Love my profile. Never realized how much difference there is between a cheap FF and a good FF till I got my profile. Arai recently came out with the RX-Q which is supposed to have better venting if you are an upright rider. Found I had to watch the YouTube video to figure out how to change my visor though IMHO extra tinted visor is awesome. Last years patterns are cheap on ebay.

I wear a modular FF about half the time when the weather is chilly and I prefer it when touring.

Modular full on bad weather days, half most of the time, none on the back roads where it gets lonely. Although I did buy a 3/4 carbon fiber that I like, and started wearing more and more.

That statement about Rothlisberger is typical helmet pushing BS. The only fact for sure is that Ben "would not have been hurt" if he had stayed at home instead of riding his motorcycle. His accident is actually an example of being able to crash head first into a solid object without a helmet and survive.

I wear a FF Shoei X-11 if it is exceptionally cold out. Otherwise, I wear a half helmet when riding in states that require a helmet and wear no helmet most other times. My choice and I respect yours.

Nolan N-43 with the J&M communications mic and speakers. Good set-up for long rides. The sun shade has saved me several times.

1/2 & 3/4, two each. Wear the 1/2 95% of the time.

That's speculation.

What's real is a hit I once saw Ray Lewis (Ravens) put on Ben. Ben was wearing a helmet, but the impact knocked him silly.
