Bull crap did you know this bike will run with 2 lbs of preasure without damage only under 2lbs will it shut off. It lost down to 16 lbs so a bike that has no top end rattle from lifters and no other sounds would lead to think you had an electrical problem. When question that was the first thing harley had thought. The engines starting in 2007 oil pump runs off the pinion gear so when the shaft to oil pump messed up that was the start but then oil preasure resumes so indications leading to electrical. ride more and fid out about your bike. Most guys won't get 26000 mile in a year it takes 5 or six years to get that millage by then warrentys are gone. so get the miles while under warrenty or pay for your own fix. How may guys do know just buy the bike and never ride 10years later it has 5000 miles on it well harley is banking on that right now. The are putting sub standard parts in the bikes from India, tiwain, every where cause it is cheap and they make more money. check your parts counter ask for a part in stock engine part and look in the box and see where it is from I will bet you money it is not made in the USA is is Assembled here but not made here makes for a larger profit margin and feeding on showboating rider not men that really are still riding the bikes. I am not stopping on the side of the road after paying $25000 for a new bike and its breaking hell no. I had a 87 I road from Maryland to NC the bearings from the crank feel out it was whacking like a over loaded wash machine and it got me home and that was my own engine I had to pay for but if I buy a ***** I am going to ride her *** until I am finished not a minute sooner.

H-D will almost NEVER admit to any problem; '06 Dyna IPB and rotor, for example.

I agree with Ekib. I paid a huge chunk of change for my bike. If its gonna tear up while its still new, ride the **** out of it till it stops, lol. Thats what a warranty is for, might as well get your monies worth. My answer to the stealership everytime will be, it just quit, no warning or anything. Now keep in mind, I'm not the kind of person that will keep on going when an engine light comes on and it starts making noise, I will stop and find out why. The OP stated it lost power, then started to run fine. He gave no indication of idiot lights or noises, just said he didnt want to stop. Anyway, I hope he makes good with his warranty and hope I never have to use my extended warranty for my limited. stay safe everyone.
