I've got a rain sock on mine to keep the bugs out of the pleats. Never had a problem in the rain...

This is exactly why I use a plastic grocery bag when I wash the scoot.

Always keep the rain sock in the saddlebag, and thats where it
stays during a rain storm.
I'm too lazy to stop and put it on.....Never had any problems
sucking in water.

Bad Piggy,

Seen that pic of your ride a few times here and been wanting to tell you it looks really beautiful. The base color on the frame and the lines from front to back really are stunning.

I'd have an even bigger smile on my face everywhere I rode that beauty!

dammit Johnny,
I'm trying to make myself sell it.
Then guys like you tell me how good you think it looks.
Makes me question my decision.
I have a '09 Road Glide, too.
I don't need 2 insurance payments, nor do I have the room for 2.

You guys are killin' me!

But thanks for the compliment.
It was a lot of work.

Absolutly one of the best looking bikes on the fourms.

You mean to tell me that you can throw all that money into a bike and a second insurance payment is a problem.

LOL...NO, that's not the prob.
I tell you what pisses me off about this insurance racket....
I'm paying 2 full coverage premiums for 2 bikes.
I can't ride 2 bikes at once.
Only 1 at a time is exposed to liability.

WHY can't I insure myself for full coverage, once, and be covered for any bike?

Insurance is such a racket!

Sorry for the hijack...back to the thread.

It's hard to "sell" loved ones your so intimately involved with.

That's why giving her away is the only answer.

Probably to the 2nd to the last guy that fell in love with her too.

That'd be me.

Say if it's going to brake your heart I know a guy, who knows a guy. You did say she was insured.

Or maybe just donate her for a raffle so some sob can win her, and ride her like she was stolen.

Gotta go ... keep me in mind, maybe an ebay auction and you'd be real happy to get twice what you invested ... maybe?
