Alright guys, let me tell you what I have so far.
I upgraded the stereo in my quadzilla fairing: Alpine ida-X100M head unit, KTP-445 power pack and 4 Polk audio db 501 marine grade speakers. So far it looks good and sounds great.
But like many of you, I can't leave well enough alone: I want to add speaker pods and Polk db 651s onto the back.
Is there any way I can run another set of speakers through that powerpack without having to worry about it getting hot and frying?
Also, I am reluctant to swap out a bunch of components and run up a big tab.
I would look into some kind of amplifier. If you like plaug and play, ( and a fit under the fairing), rumour has it that J & M will have a 4 CH amp available soon.
